As finances and business development warrant, the Company will seek experienced business professionals with established contacts in the waste disposal industry. In the meantime, PET is operating with the lean and cost-effective management team described below.

Management and Directors

Mr. Alex Falconer CA, Chief Financial Officer and Chairman of the Board
Mr. Falconer obtained his B.Comm. (Hons.), from Laurentian University in 1982. He worked in Toronto for Smith, Nixon & Co., Ernst & Young, and Hyde Houghton prior to starting his own business providing consulting services for public and private corporations. Mr. Falconer is a chartered accountant and was a partner in Revelstone Investments Inc., a Canadian company providing financing, acquisitions, strategic alliances, and strategic planning advisory services.

Dr. Wayne J. Maddever, Director
Wayne J. Maddever, B.A.Sc., M.A.Sc., Ph.D., P.Eng., principal of bbp Consulting, received his Doctorate from the Department of Metallurgy and Materials Science Engineering at the University of Toronto in 1978. His main area of study was gas metal interactions during steelmaking and casting operations, with particular emphasis on plasma steelmaking and the effect of plasmas on these interactions.
He continued his research efforts in these areas, including plasmas, while employed by the Linde Division of Union Carbide (now Praxair) at its research facilities in Canada and the United States. He subsequently held a series of sales and business management positions in the US and Canada.
Dr. Maddever is highly aware of the issues of solid waste management, having headed a Division of St. Lawrence Starch Co. Ltd., which developed and commercialized degradable plastics made from starch. He later held the position of President at Resource Plastics, one of the first and one of the largest, post-consumer plastics waste recycling facilities in North America.
He has held senior management positions at a number of technically based companies over the last ten years. Recently he has been deeply involved with the field of distributed power generation, as well as recycling of consumer products such as ink jet and laser printer cartridges. He is currently Director of Technology for Cymat Corp., a Canadian advanced materials company. He sits on the Board of Directors of two publicly traded companies.
Dr. Maddever holds several patents and is the authour of numerous papers in the fields of plasma metallurgy and waste management. He is co-authour of a textbook on degradable plastics.

Mr. Brian Clewes, Director

Mr. CleWes graduated with a B.A. from the University of Western Ontario in 1981 and began a career in the life insurance business in 1983. He is a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), a Chartered Financial. Consultant (CH.F.C.), a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and the principal of Clewes & Associates Life Insurance Consultancy Inc. that specializes in employee benefit plans.

Mr. Chris Irwin, Director and Secretary

Mr. Irwin has been an associate of Wildeboer Dellelce, Barristers and Solicitors, since January 1, 2004. Prior thereto he was an associate of Boyle & Company, Barristers and Solicitors from December, 1998 to December, 2000 and an associate of Boyle, Hobart, Barristers and Solicitors, a predecessor to Boyle & Company from September, 1997 to December, 1998.

Prof. Jen-Shih Chang, Advisory Board
Prof. Jen-Shih Chang is a world expert in the application of plasma technologies to environmental and pollution issues, jointly developing 15 commercial plants that are currently operating in Japan. He is currently a Full Professor in the Department of Engineering and Physics at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. His main research focus is in the area of Energy and Environmental Technologies, including non-thermal plasma air pollution control, thermal plasma solid waste and water treatments. He has been a committee member of UNEP Ozone Depletion Gas Treatment Technology and participated in the Canadian Government Green Plan, the Royal Commission on Canada Wide Pollution Regulation (Consultant) and the Expert Panel for the Ontario Government. He is a graduate of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Musashi Institute of Technology, Tokyo, Japan where he earned his B.Eng. and M.Eng. He has a Ph.D. in Experimental Space Sciences from York University.

Mr. Thomas Bourne, Advisory Board
Mr. Thomas Bourne of Macedon New York is an experienced leader in the waste management industry in the United States. He is currently President of Nextek GBL Inc., a company that assists waste recyling and management companies in the development of their business and technical strategies, including permitting, facility siting, operational growth and marketing plan implementation. He has more than 15 years experience in waste management and recycling.
